Well I am still messed up with sleeping so I was awake all night again. I had scraps of paper I really liked so I thought lets make a mini album. With prom this week, there has to be a girl my son is friends with that I will give this to as a gift. Usually I make minis and give them away. It makes me happy to see their faces when they smile. That's why I started crafting in the first place.
I used my cinch for the first time and found this machine to be so much easier than my bind it all. It was so easy to use and the helpful ruler base was so much easier to use with regards to measurements so the holes lined up great. I have used my bind it all for almost 2 years now and always have trouble with lining up the holes. It could be just me, but I have to say I really like the cinch!
My scraps are from the DCWV Linen Paper stack. Most everything I have co-ordinates with these papers and colors.
I cut the cardboard at 5.5" W X 4.5" H and covered the cardboard with the paper being 5.7" W X12" cutting off the excess after making some type of pocket on one side. This leaves One side for a picture and the other the pocket. I used the other scraps I had to make tags to stick in the pockets. I will have to add finishing touches to each of them, like journaling boxes but I need to go to bed and sleep sometime today. LOL
Sorry the picture flipped and I can't change it.
This is the front cover. I used a wider ribbon to cover the binding.
Inside pocket. I just added pieces of paper to the pockets for now. I need to finish them off and add some journaling spaces.
Sorry pictures flipped.
This is another page, this side has the pocket and the next page is great for mounting a picture.
the other side of the page.
This side for mounting a picture.
This side has the pocket.
The back of the album.
If anyone can tell me how to flip the photos I would appreciate it. They are correct before uploading, this program just flips them and then does not allow me to change it. Its very frustrating.
If you have any questions on how to make a mini please do not hesitate to ask me.
